Brown trout fly fishing is super fun! The water is shallow and crystal clear in the big Thompson – I’m using a number 18 elk hair caddis without a dropper. Make sure you have a quality floatant to keep the fly on top of the water. The topwater strikes are almost as fun as bass fishing!
Watch closely in the video, I spook a fish while fishing my way closer to the log. I then miss a trout. I keep fishing around the log and keep my fly active. That’s when I catch a brown trout! Like and subscribe to the video and I’ll keep creating more content.
